Heartland Veterinary Services, LLC is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for a newly established and thriving practice in Oxford, IN. We are a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional veterinary care that creates a culture focused on preventative medicine and individual care for both small animals and livestock. We are seeking a candidate dedicated to high-quality medicine and surgery and always ready to learn.
The duties would include assisting the veterinarian and staff with appointments, treatments, patient care, client service, and emergencies. The desired skills include patient restraint, anesthesia assistance, computer skills, and excellent communication skills.
We are located in beautiful Oxford, IN where we are surrounded by windmills, farmland, and wonderful people! We are only 15 minutes away from West Lafayette, IN and Purdue University. Qualifications:
High school diploma
1-2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant preferred, but not required
Compensation based on experience.
